"Into the 80s" is a compilation of fourteen great Toronto-based bands of the 1980s, from favourite locals to bands with international success. It was a remarkable time in popular music and no less than in Toronto where the influences of New Wave and Punk, Reggae and Funk, as well as Rock and Blues and myriad other genres influenced an entire generation of musicians.
